The annual Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member States of the Central European Initiative (CEI) was held via videoconference on 24 September 2020, under the Montenegrin CEI Presidency and in cooperation with the CEI-Executive Secretariat.

The Meeting under the topic CEI Region – Transition to a New Normal was chaired by H.E. Mr. Srđan Darmanović, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, and was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, State Secretaries as well as high representatives of CEI Member States. The Meeting was also attended by several Special Guests of the Presidency.

The registration to the fully digital European Week of Regions and Cities has opened and bundles more than 500 online working sessions covering topics along the three thematic priorities: Empowering Citizens (5-9 October 2020); Cohesion and Cooperation (12-16 October 2020); and Green Europe (19-22 October 2020).

Mediterranean Coast and Macro-regional Strategies Week 2020 will take place from 14 to 25 September 2020 in the coastal town of Izola and remotely via the EUSAIR Stakeholders Platform.

A series of events will address the current challenges and future potentials of the Adriatic Ionian Sea and Coast.

The first AII Committee of Senior Officials under Slovenian Chairmanship will take place in Izola (via videoconference) on September 15th, at 10.00 a.m. (CEST).

The AII Permanent Secretariat Programme of the Activities will be presented together with the Priorities and indicative calendar of events of the Slovenian Chairmanship for the period 1 June 2020 – 31 May 2021.

The webinar is organized by Marche Region, as Italian Project Partner of the EUSAIR Facility Point, in cooperation with the Permanent Secretariat of the Adriatic Ionian Initiative, within the framework of the initiatives related to the celebrations of the twenty anniversary of the Ancona Charter and of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative.
