Opening of the AII Chairmanship of BiH - Sarajevo 17 June

The first AII Committee of Senior Officials under the Chairmanship of Bosnia and Herzegovina will take place next June 17 in Sarajevo.

The new Presidency will present its yearly program and priorities which will be strictly connected to those of the "EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region" (EUSAIR) entering in its implementation phase at the beginning of next year.

To mark the beginning of the BiH yearly term of Office, a full day of events has been devised by the incoming Presidency and by the Permanent Secretariat in cooperation with the BiH Federal Ministry of Health, with Regione Marche and with the Italian Embassy in Sarajevo.

A seminar on "Promoting & Improving the Mobility in Health & Care Sector in the Adriatic Ionian Region" will take place in the afternoon, as well as a meeting among experts in the sector of cultural events in the Region.

The cultural event "Sarajevo: a port with no sea. Tales, music and songs" with guests and artists from different Countries, that will close the day will be the preview of the "Festival Adriatico-Mediterraneo" (taking place in Ancona at the end of August) and will be specially dedicated to the victims of the catastrophic flood that hit Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia last week.
